9-day Pitha Festival begins at Shilpakala Academy Tuesday

A nine-day National Pitha Festival 2018 will begin on Tuesday on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy here with a view to upholding different traditional pithas (cakes or patty).
Shilpakala Academy along with Pitha Utsab Udjapan Parishad will organize the festival that will continue till January 31, according to a news agency.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will inaugurate the festival while Academy's Director General Liakat Ali Lucky will chair it.
