2 youth killed as covered van hits bike in capital

Two youth were killed and another was injured as a covered van hit a motorcycle at Shamibag area of Gendaria in Dhaka at around 2am on Thursday.
The deceased are Salahuddin Rahel, 27, and Rasel Akon, 26.
The injured man Hannan was admitted to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Gendaria Police Station, said: “Three friends riding motorcycle were returning to their homes after attending a wedding ceremony when a covered van hit the motorcycle at Shamibag area.”
Later they were rushed to the DMCH and the doctors declared two of them dead, he added.
