Second phase Biswa Ijtema begins Friday
The three-day second phase of Biswa Ijtema, one of the largest Muslim congregations in the world, will begin on Friday on the bank of river Turag at Tongi on the outskirts of the capital Dhaka.
In the second phase of Ijtema, Muslim devotees of 16 districts will take part.
The Ijtema venue is getting filled up with local and foreign devotees.
There will be tight security for the devotees in and around the Ijtema venue with deployment of a large number of law enforcers, including RAB and police.
The first phase of Ijtema ended on January 14 with Akheri Munajat seeking divine blessings and well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
