Ebtedayee madrasa teachers call off hunger strike

The Ebtedayee madrasa teachers, who went on hunger strike demanding nationalisation of all registered institution, ended their strike on Tuesday upon assurance of the Technical and Madrasa Board Secretary Md Alamgir Hossen to meet their demand.
Technical and Madrasa Board Secretary Md Alamgir Hossen today conveyed to the demonstrating madrasa teachers that he will convey their message to the prime minister.
The teachers had been on a sit-in programme as part of their ultimatum since January 1.
