BSC calls emergency meeting over criticism of recruitment exams
The Bankers’ Selection Committee (BSC) has called an emergency meeting over allegations of gross mismanagement and irregularities in the recruitment exams of banks and financial institutions.
According to sources, the meeting will be held at 11am on Tuesday at Bangladesh Bank office.
Representatives of Bankers’ Selection Committee (BSC) and Minstry of finance, Chief executives of fourteen state-run banks and financial institutions will attend the meeting in the chair of Bangladesh Bank governor Fazle Kabir.
The meeting is going to be held at the time while the examinees, who took part in the preliminary recruitment exams of the eight state-run banks and financial intuitions on Friday, staging a flash protest in Dhaka since Sunday demanding the scrapping of the combined bank recruitment tests for the post of senior officer over allegations of gross mismanagement and irregularities in the exam.
