No evidence of rape in Tonu’s first autopsy

Forensic Department of Comilla Medical College Hospital did not find any evidence of rape and a specific cause of death in the first autopsy of Comilla Victoria College student Sohagi Jahan Tonu.

Confirming the matter, Kamoda Prosad Saha, head of the forensic department of the hospital, said, no evidence of rape was found in the first autopsy. Any specific reason behind Tonu’s death could not be identified either.

We will hand over the report to the investigation officer of the case for the next course of actions, he added.
