Maulana Saad taken to Kakrail Markaz

Indian Tabligh-Jamaat Scholar Maulana Saad Kandhalvi has been taken to Tabligh Jamaat’s Kakrail Markaz(Tablig office) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday afternoon amid protests of demonstrators.

Confirming the news, Maruf Hossain Sardar, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Ramna Zone) told Jago News that the Indian Tabligh Jamaat Scholar Maulana Saad Kandolvi will be kept in Kakrail until the situation develops.

The Indian Tabligh-Jamaat Scholar reached the Dhaka airport by a Thai Airways flight around 1:00pm but he could not get out of the airport till 4:30pm following the protest.  

According to source, the protesters left the Airport area around 4:30pm for Kakrail saying that they would barrier Saad from getting out of Markaz toward a Khitta (a piece of ground) in Tongi Ijtema ground.
