3 killed as bus hits auto-rickshaw in Cox’s Bazaar

Three people including auto-rickshaws driver were killed on Monday in a head-on collision between a bus carrying tourists and a CNG-run auto-rickshaws on the Marine Drive Road in cox’s Bazaar.

Two of the deceased were identified as CNG-run auto-rickshaws driver Nurul Absar (26) and Saidul Islam (55) while the identity of another could not be known yet.

Confirming the news, Abdul Halim, Acting Officer-in-Charge of Himchari police outpost said that Inani bound bus carrying tourists hit a Cox’s Bazaar bound CNG-run auto-rickshaws on the Marine Drive Road near Paachardip Govt. Primary School in cox’s Bazar while three people died on the spot and three others sustained injuries.
