Road crash kills 3 of a family

Three members of a family were killed in a road crash at Dori Chariyakona area on Kishoreganj-Bhoirab road of the Kotiadi upazila Kishoreganj on Tuesday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Janab Ali, 55, his wife Salma Khatun, 45, and their daughter Tia. 

Janab Ali along with his family members was coming to Kishoreganj by a pickup van from Comilla.

The pickup van fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving Ali and his baby daughter killed on the spot.

Critically injured Salma succumbed after she was taken to Kishoreganj District Hospital early on Wednesday.
