Diaz murder: CU teacher sent to jail

A Chittagong court on Monday ordered to send Anwar Hossen Chowdhury, former assistant proctor of Chittagong University, to jail in the murder case of Bangladesh Chhatra League central leader Diaz Irfan Chowdhury.
Chittagong Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mashiur Rahman passed the order after he surrendered before the court.
Confirming the matter, Abu Monsur, lawyer of plaintiff, told Jago News that the court has rejected his bail plea and ordered to send him to jail.
