Sayeed khokon announces DSCC budget

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayor Sayeed Khokon has announced a Tk2,085.36 crore budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year at Nagar Bhaban on Thursday afternoon.

“This year, the budget will be financed by an expected Tk1,060.69 crore development assistance from the government, private sectors, public private partnerships and foreign finance", Sayeed khokon said while announcing the budget.

The budget is almost triple the size of the revised budget for the previous fiscal year, which was Tk642.87 crore, while the proposed budget for FY2014-15 was Tk1,565 crore.
