60 thousand locals moved to cyclone-shelters

At least 60 thousand people have moved to the cyclone-shelters of five upazilas in Chittagong. Local administration moved the locals to the shelters ahead of the approaching cyclone Komen.

People from Sandip, Bashkhali, Anowara, Sitakund and Mirsarai upazila have moved to the cyclone-centers, said acting Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Shahriaz.

The administration kept the Mothers and children separately and provided with dry foods with pure water to the people there, he added.
