Comilla take on Dhaka in first qualifier of BPL Friday

After a day recess, the Bangladesh Premier League T20 resumes tomorrow at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.

Table topper Comilla Victorians meet defending champions Dhaka Dynamites in the first qualifier at 7 pm with the winners going through to the final and the losing team playing the second qualifier against the winners of the eliminator between Rangpur Riders and Khulna Titans, BSS reported.

Both Dhaka and Khulna Titans have seven wins in 12 games but with a better net run rate Dhaka have ensured that they will get two chances to qualify for the final of the fifth edition.

On the other hand, prior to the first qualifier, Khulna Titans will take on Rangpur Riders in the eliminator match that kicks off at 2 pm.

After the end of league phase matches, Comilla Victorians dominate the points table with 18 points from 12 matches while Dhaka Dynamites stand at second position with 15 points playing the same number of outings.

On the other hand, Khulna Titans placed in third position with 15 points from 12 matches while Rangpur Riders secured the fourth position with 12 points also playing the same number of matches.
