Man gunned down in Jessore

A man was gunned down by miscreants in Uposhahor area in the town last night.
The deceased was identified as Golam Kuddus Viku, 52, a resident of Uposhahor area of Jessore town, according to a news agency.
He was the executive director of Local NGO Pattrasha Samaj Kallyan Sangstha.
Officer-in-Charge of Jessore Model Thana AKM Azmol Huda confirmed the incident.
Police said miscreants opened fire on Golam Kuddus Viku in front of his house on Saturday night at around 9:30 pm.
Locals rescued Viku and admitted him to Jessore 250 Bed Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
