BGB deployed in 680 UP’s

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have been deployed in 680 union parishads ahead of Tuesday’s elections.

BGB Public Relations Officer Mohosin Reza confirmed the matter.

He said, 240 platoons of BGB members were deployed in the union parishads to maintain law and order during the elections.

Elections in 721 union parishads across the country are going to be held on Tuesday. This is the first time union polls will be held on party lines.
