Suspected militant den cordoned off in Rajshahi

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) cordoned off a house suspecting a militant hideout at Alatoli char area in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Lieutenant Colonel Mahbubul Alam, Director of RAB-5 told Jagonews24.com that “They surrounded the house around 3am.”

“As the lawmen asked the suspected militants holing up inside the den to surrender, they exploded four to five bombs, causing a fire inside the house,” he added.
