Govt declares Dec 12 National ICT Day

The government has declared December 12 as National Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Day.
The commitment for a “Digital Bangladesh” was announced in the Awami League election manifesto on this day in 2008.
The decision was taken at today’s regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after a proposal was placed from the ICT Division.
