208 election violence killed 7: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) A K M Shahidul Haque said, ‘A total of 208 election violence have been occurred before the Union Parishad election.

Shahidul Haque said, ‘Seven people were killed in the incident’.

He confirmed this at a press conference which was held at police head quarters on Sunday.

In this connection, a total of 143 cases and 55 general diaries have been taken by police, he added.
