Anisul Haque announces DNCC budget

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Anisul Huq has announced a Tk1601.95 crore budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year at Uttara Community Centre in the capital around 2pm Wednesday.

“This year the budget will be financed by an expected Tk476 crore development assistance from the government, private sectors, public private partnerships and foreign finance”, Anisul Huq said, while announcing the budget.

The budget is almost double the size of the revised budget for the previous fiscal year, which was Tk803.19 crore. The proposed budget for the 2014-15 FY was Tk2041.87 crore.
