BB governor resigns

He submitted a resignation letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at PMO on Tuesday morning.

He said, ‘I have already prepared my resignation letter. Now I need to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. I am just waiting for her orders. Once I got directive from Prime Minister, I will hand over my resignation letter to her.’
The hacking took place on the night of February 4, a Thursday, using information stolen through the malware, which sent a total of 35 transfer orders to the NY Federal Reserve Bank where the BB has an account.
