BNP keeps silence on SQ`s verdict

BNP refused to make any comment on the verdict of Supreme Court on Wednesday morning that upheld the death penalty for the party’s leader Salauddin Quader Chowdhry.

None of the BNP leaders expressed any reaction to the journalists on the verdict.

Retired Lt Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, senior leader and standing committee member of BNP said to Jago News, ‘I do not have any reaction to this issue.

Answering to the question if the party will take any step to take SQ’s party post away, BNP leaders kept mum as well.
