6 killed in Sylhet landslide

Six workers including four madrasa students were killed and one other injured in a landslide while extracting stones at Lovachara area of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet around 9am on Tuesday.

In this connection, Abdul Ahad, officer-in-charge of Kanaighat Police Station, told Jagonews24.com that, “Hearing the news, police rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.”
