Hamid appointed Honorary Consul of Botswana in Bangladesh

Enthekhabul Hamid, managing director of Hamid Group, was appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Botswana in Bangladesh.

High Commissioner of Botswana in New Delhi, India Ethel Motsumi has delivered Letter of Commission to Hamid at a colourful occasion of launching Honorary Consulate of Botswana yesterday at Lakeshore Hotel in Gulshan here, said a press release today.

Enthekhabul Hamid, son of Late Hamidur Rahman, former Member of Parliament, is a successful businessman and well known in the business community.

He is brother of State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid.

He is also serving as Secretary General of Bangladesh Shooting Sport' Federation, Gulshan Dhaka.

He was awarded with the prestigious Bangabandhu National Award in Agriculture, 2014 in recognition of the establishment of viable Agro farms in Bangladesh.
