3 killed in collision between bus, three-wheeler

At least three people have been killed on the spot when a bus crushed a locally-made three-wheeler under its wheels in Madaripur district.

The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Barisal Highway at Kalabarhi at around 3pm on Saturday.

Madaripur police’s Assistant Superintendent Moniruzzaman Fakir said police could not identify the victims immediately.

Several others were also injured, expressing fear that the death toll may rise, he added.
