35 Rohingyas rescued from sinking boat off

Thirty five Rohingya people, who were fleeing violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine state, were rescued from a sinking boat off in the shore of Shah Porir Deep in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar at 4am on Wednesday.

The rescued people were kept at Dangorpara government primary school.

Confirming the matter to the Jagonews24.com, Maeen Uddin Khan, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station said: “Local people rescued the 35 Rohingya people from the spot.”

However, a total of 185 bodies of Rohingya people have been recovered so far.
