Garo woman found dead

Police recovered a body of a Garo woman in Gulshan of Dhaka on Saturday morning.

The victim was found near a house at Road no 12 in Gulshan around 8:30am.

Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station told that injury marks are found on chest, neck and other parts of her body.

Police suspected that the miscreants might have left the body in the area after killing her elsewhere, the OC said.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for an autopsy, he said adding that the law enforcers were trying to identify her.
