More documentaries needed to be built on Nazrul: Noor

Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor today said more documentaries should be made on the life of national poet Quazi Nazrul Islam.

"More documentaries are needed to be made for displaying the diversity and extent of creation by the great poet Nazrul," said the minister.

The minister said this as the chief guest while inaugurating the display and unveiling the cover of the DVD on Nazrul Jibon Porikroma (Nazrul life chronology), an autobiographical documentary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam in the capital.

Nazrul Institute organized the programme.

Professor Emeritus Rafiqul Islam, noted Nazrul researcher and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nazrul Institute, and Faizul Latif Chowdhury, Director General of the Bangladesh National Museum also spoke at the programme.
