Mahfuz granted bail in lawsuit

A court in Rangpur on Tuesday granted bail to The Editor of Daily Star Mahfuz Anam in connection with a defamation case.
 
Senior Judicial Magistrate Shafiul Alam granted him bail on a bond of Tk 1000 after hearing the case.
 
The court also fixed May 26 for next hearing in the case.
