10 SC officials including registrar general transferred

In a major reshuffle, 10 officials of the Supreme Court (SC), including registrar general, personal secretary (PS) of the Chief Justice and additional registrar, have been transferred, officials said.

Public relations officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Md Rezaul Karim confirmed the matter saying a gazette notification was issued in this regard.

Syed Aminul Islam, the SC registrar general, was transferred as chairman to the Minimum Wages Board of Bangladesh, while Mohammad Anishur Rahman, PS to the Chief Justice, as additional district and session judge, Panchagar and Abu Syed Diljar Hussain, registrar of the High Court (HC), as judge to Special Judge's Court-3, Dhaka.

Acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah gave an approval to this end.
