3 killed as truck, pickup van collide in Rangpur

Three people were killed and three others injured after a truck and a pickup van collided head-on on Dhaka-Rangpur highway at Mithapukur Upazila in Rangpur around 6am on Monday.
The deceased are Monwara Begum, 40, Mojnu Miah, 35, Abdul Kuddus Miah, 60, hailing from Bogra.
Hafijul Islam, officer-in-charge of Borodorgah Highway Police station, told Jagonews24.com that “A Nilphamari-bound truck collided head-on with a Bogra-bound pickup van, leaving two people dead on the spot and injured four others.”
Later four injured men were sent to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared one of them dead, he added.
