Huge bombs recovered

Police in a drive recovered huge bombs from a house of at Nabodoy Housing at Mohammadpur area in the capital on Friday night.

Police could not arrest anyone from the scene, it is learnt.

Earlier police detained two alleged militants from Badda last night.

Based on their information, police launched the drive at the house in Mohammadpur and made the recovery.

Newly-formed counter terrorism chief, Deputy Inspector General Monirul Islam was present at the housing where the bombs were being defused around 1pm today.
