Swan garment workers` strike continue
Ignoring the rain Swan garment workers continued the 16th day of their sit-in protest in front of the National Press Club on Monday.
The crisis deepened when the managing director of the garment died three months ago and it failed to pay the wages to the workers. Later the owners shut down the factory without paying four months due to the workers. At that point factory workers have been holding the sit-in demanding their dues since July 1.
The worker leaders said to jago news they will continue the strike untill the owners meet their demand.
