Charge sheet against 49 BNP’s leaders

Two charge sheets were submitted to Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court of Dhaka accusing 49 leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The BNP leaders have been charged in a sabotage case filed with Paltan police station under Explosives Act.

Sub-Inspectors of Paltan police station Shafiqul Islam and Mizanur Rahman submitted the charge sheets to the concerned General Register of the court on Tuesday.

According to the charge sheet, Barrister Rafiqul Islam, Amanullah Aman, Joynal Abedin Faruk, Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Barkatullah Bulu, Shamsur Rahman, Shimul Biswas, Abdul Awal Mintoo, AZM Zahid Hossain, Rajib Ahsan, Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Mir Sharafat Ali Sofu and Khairul Kabir Khokon are among the key accused.
