Cabinet approved draft of EPZ labor Law

The cabinet approved in principle the draft of ‘The Bangladesh Export Processing Zone (EPZ) Labor Law, 2016’ to ensure the welfare of the EPZ workers by allowing them in constitution of organizations.

The approval was given at the meeting of the cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam confirmed the matter to the journalists.

Ministers and state minister concerned attended the meeting, while concerned secretaries were present.
