Dhaka expresses grave concern at North Korea’s nuke test
The government today expressed grave concern at the successive nuclear tests conducted by Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), known as North Korea.
"With utter disregard to the concerns expressed by the international community, North Korea has carried out its 6th nuclear test on 3 September 2017," said a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement issued here today, BSS reported.
The statement said such act of North Korea constitutes a threat to regional peace, security and stability.
"We call upon DPRK to refrain from such unilateral act that deviates from the principles, commitment and obligation of states in promoting and maintaining international peace as well as regional peace and security," the statement said.
