Rain likely on Eid day

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in different places across the country on the day of Eid-ul-Azha, Ruhul Quddus, a meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The Eid-ul-Azha will be held in Bangladesh on Saturday.

Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal & Chittagong divisions and at a few places over Rangpur division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in 24 hours ending at 6pm on Thursday.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
