3 suspected robbers killed in Rupganj

Three suspected robbers were beaten to death at Jinda area in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj around 3am on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Mahmudul Islam, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Rupganj Thana police confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.

He said, a gang of robbers stormed a house in the area and looted valuables. Hearing screams, locals rushed in and caught three of them.

Later, the mob gave them a good thrashing, leaving two of them dead on the spot and another injured.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital and he died after admission.
