New pay scale before cabinet in a week

The report on eighth pay scale for the public servants will be placed before next cabinet meeting within a week.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith said this after a meeting with the leaders of Bangladesh English Medium School Association in the capital on Monday.

Muhith in the meeting also assured the leader of the association of considering their demand not to impose vat on English Medium schools.
