Jago News’ relief distribution continues

Jagonews24.com, a leading news portal of the country, is continuing its relief distribution programme among the flood affected people in the country’s northern region.

As per plan, Jago team distributed relief materials among the flood affected people in Lalmonirhat and Nilphamari on Friday.

In Lalmonirhat, relief goods were distributed among 1400 marooned people adjacent to Teesta barrage of the district on Friday morning.

After receiving relief goods, Hadil Sarkar said his family had been starving for the last several days. She thanked the Jago News for the humanitarian initiative.

In Nilphamari, Jago News team distributed relief in flood affected areas among 1100 flood hit families.

Jaitun, a sexagenarian of Tepakhoribari Union, said they had been spending their days only having a small amount of dry food.

After several days, they would have rice as they got it under Jago News’s relief distribution initiative.

The popular news portal is conducting its humanitarian initiative in association with Pran-RFL group, country’s largest business conglomerate.

Earlier on Thursday, they started their journey from Dinajpur where they distributed relief among the flood hit people.

They will go to Gaibandha and Natore for distributing relief among the flood hit families.

The Jago News team was led by its editor Shujan Mahmud.
