History distorted in verdict of 16th amendment case: Law Minister

‘Unacceptable’ remarks have been used in the Supreme Court verdict of the 16th amendment case, which distorted history of Bangladesh, said Law Minister Anisul Haq.

He came up with the comment while talking to the reporters at a programme held at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Sunday.

“We will seek a review for expunging some objectionable and irrelevant remarks of the chief justice in the verdict of 16th amendment case as the words distorted history,” the minister said.
