Gold prices hiked ahead of Eid

Gold prices in Bangladesh market has been increased again ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of the Muslims.

Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) on Saturday took the decision after a gap of fifteen days. As per the new rates, the maximum price of each bhori gold will be increased at Tk1, 516.

The organization claimed that they have no other choice but to increase the prices following global market.

The new rates would be effective from tomorrow (Sunday).
