Met office forecasts heavy rainfall

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours ending at 6pm today.
"Due to active monsoon heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions during the next 24 hrs commencing from 10 am yesterday," the BMD office said in a warning message, BSS reported.
