N’ganj 7 murder: charge-sheet against 35

The trail for the most widely discussed of seven-murder in Narayanganj has finally started on Monday.

A Narayanganj court indicted former city councillor Nur Hossain and three former RAB officials among thirty five persons for the 2014 murders of seven people.

Narayanganj District and Sessions Judge Syed Enayet Hossain also fixed February 25 for witness depositions.

It is mentionable that, Narayanganj City Corporation Panel Mayor Nazrul Islam, his three aides and driver and senior lawyer Chandan Sarkar and his driver were kidnapped from the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road on April 27, 2014.

Three days later, six bodies were found floating in the Shitalakkhya. The other body was recovered from the river on the following day.
