Morshed Khan, 7 others sued

Former foreign minister and Citycell director M Morshed Khan, his wife Nasrin Khan and 6 others have been sued over unpaid dues of around TK 1.5 crore.

Five officials of the oldest mobile operator company of Bangladesh on Monday separately filed the cases with Dhaka’s labour court.

After accepting the cases, the court issued summons against the accused people for responding to the matter within October 4.

The other accused include PBTL Vice Chairman Asghar Karim, its Chief Executive Officer Mehboob Chowdhury, Chief Financial Officer and Provident Fund Trustee member Tariqul Islam, Mahfuzur Rahman, Nishat Ali and A B Sarker. 

Citycell official Tipu Sultan, Kazi Ruhul Quddus, Hasan Mahmud, Mosaddek Milon and AKM Ehsanul Azad filed the cases against them.
