2 held with ammo, firearms

Two young men were detained along with two firearms, some bullets, and magazines from Daulatbari border area of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj early on Sunday.

The arrestees were identified as Atiqul Islam, 27, and Jabdul Haque, 30.

Camp commander of Rapid Action Battalion-5 (RAB-5) Major Abdus Salam ensured this to journalists.

He said on secret information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive at the village at about 3am and arrested the duo along with two pistols, 14 rounds of bullet and four magazines.
