Confusions being spread about SQ : Mahbubey Alam

Attorney General Advocate Mahbubey Alam on Sunday said rumors and confusion have been spreading on intention regarding BNP`s standing committee member Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury who has appealed against the ruling of the crimes against humanity tribunal.

He made this comment while answering to the journalist at Attorney General`s office Sunday afternoon .

He said, `I can`t beleive in such a news that Mr. Chowdhury`s family met any of our judges.`

A national newspaper recently reported that Salauddin`s family members met one of the judges of the tribunal regarding the verdict.  

Alam banished the alligation saying, "No report can be published based on rumors. And Chief Justice`s office can not send any rejoinder to such made up reports. "

He assured the verdict of the tribunal against SQ will be upheld as the crimes he committed is significantly large in scale.

The apex court will pass the full verdict of condemned war criminal Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed within next two or three weeks,  added the Attorney General.
