Fire at resident kills woman in capital
A woman was died after being fallen sick by smoke as fire was broken out in a residential building at Dhanmondi area in the capital on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Monnujan, 55. The cause of fire could not be known immediately.
According to source, fire broke out at the ground floor of 85/2 residential building of Dhanmondi-15 around 1:20 am.
Hearing the news, four units of fire brigade doused the fire after their frantic efforts for four hours. But the woman fell sick by the dense smoke of the fire.
She died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 5:00 am on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
