Gulshan attack case charge sheet soon: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Friday said the charge sheet in the Holey Artisan Cafe attack case will be submitted very soon.

He said this while speaking to the journalists after inaugurating a drawing competition organized by the Bangladesh Olympic Association.

Rashed alias Abu Jarra, a top leader of banned militant outfit new JMB, who arrested from Natore today, was one of the masterminds of Gulshan attack, said the Home Minister.

On July 1, 2016, Gunmen stormed the Holey Artisan Bakery in the capital’s Gulshan diplomatic zone and killed 20 hostages, mostly foreign nationals.

Two police officials were also killed during the 12-hour hostage standoff.
