Mother, son stabbed dead in Noakhali

A woman and her two-year-old son were stabbed to death by her husband at Pashchim Charbata village in Subarnachar upazila on Friday night.

Officer-in-charge of Char Jabbar Police Station Nizam Uddin confirmed the matter to journalists.

According to source, Lucky Rani Nath, 30, and her two-year-old son were stabbed to death by her husband Sanjay Kumar Nath, 40, over a family feud at about 11:00pm.

Hearing the news, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local a hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police arrested Sanjay and his father Jashrat Kumar Nath.
