No gas in Mirpur for 4-hr today

Gas supply will remain suspended from 1pm to 5pm on Thursday across a vast area of Mirpur in the capital due to relocation of gas pipelines to facilitate construction of Mass Rapid Transit Development under the Dhaka Metro Rail Project.

According to a press release of the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, which is responsible for gas supply in Dhaka city, the areas where gas supply will be suspended include the areas located on both sides of Zoo road, Mirpur sections 1, 2, 6, 7, west side of Mirpur 10, 11 and 12, Eastern Housing, Rupnagar, Arambagh, Alubdi and its adjoining areas.

The supply will disrupt all kinds of consumers including household, commercial and industrial in these areas.
